About the event
This unique Qigong class employs the support of rare, wild, aged, old tree Chinese Tea. Kevin emphasizes the Yin or soft approach to working with your internal landscape through fluid & integrated movement geared towards viscerally feeling energy; dissolving layers of tension, relaxing into calm, clarity, strength and balance — body, energy & breath.
Opening the energy gates of your body's chi helps you to dissolve stress gently yet powerfully – like water wears away rock. Over time, your body and its energy become more and more open, soft and healthy as you learn to directly feel and work with your body and the energy that courses through it. Topics include proper standing alignments, breathing, scanning and sinking your energy, a movement called "cloud hands" & the unique Taoist spine stretch.
$20 per class ~ registration appreciated, drop-ins welcome.
